Job Description :
- Work with Curriculum Specialists to develop Instructional Design that supports program content within a digital program platform and print components.
- Preparing subject-related content that is logically / factually / linguistically accurate and consistent (up to class 12).
- Editing for language the content created in various subjects.
- Ensuring visual clarity/attractiveness of the content.
- Ensuring grade level (K-12) suitability of the content.
- Checking for copyright infringement and repeat use.
- Generating ideas and visualization for multimedia-based content.
- Document instructional design specifications to serve as the foundation for courseware development.
- Advise on and implement process improvements to increase quality and reduce costs.
- Work with the User Interface team to develop and design how the content will be presented, organized, and accessed within the program
- Work with the Prototype Production team to create prototype digital content
- Work with the Research and Usability Testing teams to ensure instructional design principles are validated as part of formative evaluation
- Review content in development to ensure functional specifications defined have been executed
- Participate in cross-functional teams to provide and receive input on how to instructionally enhance the content
- Recommend and provide guidance on new instructional formats and technologies
- Make independent decisions to select processes and tools
- Follow current trends and research on innovations and developments in the fast-moving field of instructional design
Desired Profile :
- A bachelor's degree or Master degree. Freshers can also apply
- Must be able to grasp the specificities related to Grade and Curriculum
- 0-5 years of instructional design and development experience, preferably in the field of education
- Excellent communication skills, strong analytical and verbal communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in visual, oral, and written form
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Possess an eye for detail and able to manifest ideas into a tangible form
- Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and other workflow and storyboard tools
- Experience with design and prototyping tools, including Photoshop and Dreamweaver is preferred
- Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- High degree of flexibility and tolerance for change
- Ability to lead and collaborate actively with others on cross-functional teams
