Job Description:
Strategically perform comprehensive searches relating to patentability (novelty), validity, freedom-to-operate and infringement on various available sources
Communicate effectively with customers in determining the scope of searches and prepare informative reports that clarify and summarize the search results
Perform qualitative analysis of patents and patent portfolios from a legal, technical and business perspective
Deliver timely, value-added patent search reports, based on in-house established protocols
Conducting IP due diligence reviews of the company’s clients
Conduct long-term patent landscape studies to identify trends in a technology field, deliver competitive intelligence and identify potential research and licensing opportunities
Maintain proficiency with commercial patent databases and other proprietary databases that disclose technical publications.
Desired Profile:
P.G Diploma in Packaging
In-depth knowledge of technical literature in the area of subject matter expertise
A basic understanding and interest in patents
Effective analytical, presentation, oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Flexible with excellent attention to detail
Candidates from Indian Institute of Packaging will be preferred.
