Hand-coding XHTML and CSS
Achieving cross-browser compatibility in IE, Firefox, Safari and Chrome
Skills:
-- Expert-level PHP,SQL, HTML and intermediate to advanced knowledge of CSS.
-- Advanced Javascript abilities and AJAX experience.
-- Experience with the Codeigniter/Zend framework is a BIG plus
-- Intermediate Photoshop experience is a plus
-- Experience with technologies such as Joomla, Drupal, osCommerce and Virtuemart are plusses
-- Experience with Flash, ActionScript and Ruby on Rails helpful but not required
-- Being creative and entrepreneurial - we're a small company and we need people to be open to doing many things
-- Thorough understanding of cross-browser, front-end development issues.

Job Description
We’re looking for a Web Developer/Programmer who loves doing PHP+MySQL development work, but is also great at front end tasks. This person will work with our small development team to build exciting web applications using PHP+MySQL+AJAX . You will have much exposure within the company so you will have an opportunity to shine. You will be building database intensive web applications, Content Management systems and intelligent reporting tools for Clients all around the world. We primarily cater to the US and European markets.Someone who has experience building community based platforms and USES new technologies like Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Skype, etc in their own life, understands the benefits and believes in the future of those technologies. Ability to build web apps with dynamic interactions, ie understands what cool effects you can do with JavaScript, Flash, etc. and has basic SEO knowledge. Your software designs will need to support SEO and Ajax.
